Tracing Exercises In Illustrator- Bubblegum says, "Hey...".

This lady is Princess Bubblegum! She is a character from one of my favorite shows as of late, Adventure Time! This is not a typical outfit for the character, but I thought it would be a lot of fun to recreate!
Here is the final product from our tracing exercise. This project taught me a lot about problem solving, and why you shouldn't use the line tool. There are just a few things I want to go back and tweak. So expect a new post in the not too distant future.

This is the reference drawing for the assignment. Originally taken from an official Adventure Time character sheet.

Playing With Lines Again.

Graphic Design Collage!

The images used in this collage were humbly taken from the Anjunadeep music catalog and I respectfully acknowledge that they belong to the label and the artists Dusky (from the album Stick By This) and Jody Wiestenoff (from the album Trails We Blaze). I wholeheartedly recommend these albums and all of the music produce by the Anjunadeep label.

I love lines. I also love liner pens. This is a flower study that was abstracted and embellished.
